I'm so excited!  It's official.  We will be having our very first praise and worship time for everyone who wants to come together to play instruments and sing, while praising Jesus!  Several people have asked for something like this, and after I prayed about it and talked with my pastor about it, it has come to fruition.  I will pray from now 'til then for God to bring the people He wants to have there. So thankful and so excited!

"Hey gramma!"

Our sweet little grandson Max noticed my hands while I was pushing him in the cart at Target the other day.  He says pretty boldly, "Hey gramma!  Why are you wearing grampa's ring?"  I explained to him that I have the exact same ring as grampa.  I called grampa over so we could put our hands side by side.  Max studied our hands and was satisfied to know I hadn't taken grampa's ring.  Bless him.  What a sweet little boy.  That he even recognized was so sweet to me and Donut.  #confessionsofmaxsgrammanumber1274 #heismybelovedandiamhis

Max goes to Cabelas (uh-gain)

Most kids love to go to Disneyworld....or Sea World....or the park or somewhere fun like that.  And while Maxton loves all of those, his favorite place on earth seems to be Cabelas.  Well, there and Buc-ee's.  I can never get enough of this little big boy's squeaky voice.  His beautiful spirit captivates both mine and his grampa's hearts more and more every day.

We picked him up after school last Thursday and since we only had about an hour and a half, we took a quick trip to Cabelas to see all the animals (again!).  I couldn't get the cute little video to load....it's just a tad too long.  I've gotta figure out how to shorten it.  But here's pic's from our visit.  So sweet.

Rainbow-Colored Lizard

We had Max all this week during spring break. He has so much energy, it seems unreal. I don't remember my boys climbing all over me the way Max does, and he does it with ease. Note to self: I need to remember to add to my resume: rock wall. We took him home Friday (yesterday) morning. After recouping yesterday evening by veg'ing out and watching a chick flick, I woke up today with an ache in my heart....I miss Max and his squeaky voice.  He is normally calling for me to come play with him or calling grampa to catch lizards outside or to look at the deer. This morning he'd say that the (free-roaming) chickens are no where to be found. He called me on the phone just a few minutes ago, with his daddy's help, to ask me if I had seen any lizards this morning. He told me that if I did catch one to remember that if I put a green leaf up against him that he would turn green, and to be careful not to put my finger near its mouth because it would bite me. We talked about all of the color possibilities for this lizard....if we put it on something red he'd turn red, orange orange, blue blue. I asked him about a rainbow.....he told me he loved rainbows, and when I asked if the lizard would turn a rainbow color if we put it on a rainbow, he asked why it would do that. That possibility seemed a little hard for him to imagine, but in the end he agreed it would be "cool".

Jesus, thank you for this week that was filled with love, fun, laughing, squeaky voices, and lots of hugs and kisses. It's a week I will never forget.

Max's First Words

Donato & I were so proud at Max's first words. We were blessed to have him for three days, the week before Christmas. What a fun week we had! We took this video just a few hours before Max had to go home....what a surprise we received when Maxton said his first words. Grampop sure was proud! :o) This was Friday, December 23, 2011. Enjoy our little bundle of love and joy!

Happy 4th of July!

What a great time we had with friends and family on July 4th! We had about 30 people here to celebrate the holiday.....we swam, ate hamburgers & hot dogs, hung out and enjoyed the day!

Pictures to come soon....I promise! :o)
